I think there will be a fair few speed sailors at Montagu tomorrow. Sandy Point also looks very promising, so it will be interesting to see how we go in conditions that are also perfectly suited to Sandy Point (only 200km between the two spots). A lot cheaper and easier for us Taswegians to sail Montagu than it is to get to Sandy Point, so let's just hope the conditions are as good.
The best thing is that we didn't really have any good speed sailing spot for SW'lies, and this is a pretty common direction for the NW of the state, so hopefully this place will be the new spot for those howling Sw'lies and will turn it on quite regularly.
