Nice pics Perks looks like it was a great day for racing. I had a 50th to go to at St Helens and to rub it in, the place overlooked the water and the wind there was over 20 kts all day and all my gear is at home

Don't suppose you saw the bloke out from Scout's going across to Beauty Bay. That'd be me. Probably got up close to 30ks in the middle of the bay. Great sailing.

Yes you needed to have completed the membership form before starting to race, anyone who had not completed their form prior to racing will be issued a DNS. There will be no exceptions to the rules

A few people did become members before the racing on Saturday, but those that didn't automatically are deemed "IOU" members. You race - you join!!

Similar situation in the south where we had people race who agreed to become a member, but had not actually submitted their form or paid their membership.

Don't want to get in to the legality of it, but it is often the case that people join up on race day.

... and for the record ..., for those who are interested, please find below two personally filled in membership forms and a dated cheque two days prior to racing on the weekend. I couldn't get these updated into the system before the racing as it takes a while, but they should show up by now.

For anyone that did race and hasn't got their membership form to me yet, please do ...

Due to a formal protest put in by undiscolsed sailors the results are not available until I finish Photoshoping PFD's onto the sailors that competed

Jez, can you please post the results from Round 1 of the State Slalom Championships if you still have them so we can move on from this. Been harder to get the results out than it was to actually race.

If anyone is wanting to check whether they are a member of WT or not, there is now a direct link to State Members:

www.windsurfing.org/files/info/AWA%20Members%20-%20TAS.pdf

There will always be some delay between sending in your details and getting onto this list, as I first need to send the details to the AWA Secretary who then updates the list.

Kazza, Jizz, damo and appletiny all live next to each other with 3 different postcodes, and Kaleb, who lives 1/2 hr away has the same postcode as 2 of them.

How bazzar :)
