Just read the spot guide (thank's to Mr Johnny). So it's best in a SW -WSW.

I knew someone would say that! Hi Dave! The bloke in tears is the same bloke that tore another naish wavesail!
Houston has more details

I was wondering how long it would take till someone picked up on spelling!
i.e. Minor/Miner

Pictures from today - I was on a 3.3 and 69L board. 4.0 would have been a better choice. I am hoping that massive broad low develops for end next week.

Yeah pretty crazy out there today
Potts and Felix went straight out but I watched for a few mins as it was pretty onshore and they sailed pretty close to those rocks on the right in mast high and Johnny was on a 3.3m so puts it into perspective , he sailed for about hour and half with relative ease.....Felix broke a mast in 40 mins...... And it goes without saying I ended up being chewed on the rocks just trying to get out..... Finally made it but went far too down wind, dropped my gybes (pretty bloody normal) decided after two runs in 40 kt gusts and some waves looking like they could be over mast high I was definitely out of my league so scarpered off to safety
What a bloody buzz though

Fantastic photo's

the first one looks like the perfect gear shredder!!

Bad luck on the gear front boys. 4.2 and 3.6 man it must be windy!!

Damo I think you better get the order book ready. Sounds like houston is about to part with a few of his green folded lettuce leafs this time

Unfortunaely I was the only sailor unable to loop but still had a ball, great to be out amongst it.
Today BOL turned it on with a constant 4.2m sou-wester. Felix broke his 2nd mast for the weekend along with a sail but good to see a 17yr old consistantly in the danger zone. I did my usual trick and ate some kelp as I catiplulted over the reef.
Kaleb should have a few pics on the way.
Thanks to Pottsy for getting us out there, sailed three out of three days, not bad for the west coast

Yes - but only for the first 30 mins - then I can't feel anything above the neck. I think it stops me from thinking to rationally as well... Haha

Guys I loved sailing with you. I don't know exactly why I love this place so much but I was even stoked with that jumping session at 7 mile beach. I think the adrenaline of Tassy has got something to do with it. Its like watching a horror movie. You know it will scare the **** out of you but you still watch it and in some sick way enjoy it. Sunny perfect waves are awesome but getting out of cold, violent, nail biting conditions always makes me feel more alive.

It looks good later this week - not as big a swell but still good. Its a pitty the cameras weren't manned as Kaleb was ripping. Thanks for the shots mate I appreciate it and so does Zu.

Now I am not being a bastartd here but I wish I had video of Anthony doing his trade mark move again. So good to watch - haha. Anthony went straight down a 10ft plus face into dry reef. Seriously WTF - you need to be banned from BOL. But honestly Ant your a legend mate - you got out there no matter what... and had some damn good rides too. BOL is not an easy place. In fact it is probably the Gnarliest because of the reef sucks dry right below you and it is a heavy top to bottom wave on the big sets.

Hope to see you guys the end of the week.
