Meant to be not as windy as today (40 knots) but about 22-35 knots.
Anyone keen low is at 10am and its super low so i would plan to be there about 7 or 8 sail through to low and then after low(probably a half hour or more between the two).
Anyone up for it?
Hey Jordan I might be keen, if this wind dies down a bit overnight!!!
I didn't go there today, it wasn't raining so I decided to head bush and do the work I had to do there before the rain came and made the tracks impassable. Then the wind came in, and I spent hours trying to get out of the bush, had to chainsaw through half a dozen trees that had fallen over the tracks. It's still pretty balistic here (Table Cape) at the moment, very gusty though.
Did you and Izaac wave sail today? Would have been some nice swell coming into the bay.
Hey Easty Izaak and i did get out in the end, although the conditions were a little dissapointing, just too light and gusty for here! So went for a surf i the end. Wind is meant to die off by about 15 knots tomorrow! So if you are keen i will make the trip! Just let us know...
I'm keen Jordan I just have to get my 4.3 mast back from Jacks place before I can go, then again I may not need the 5.8 if its blowing. Fantastic effort today by the boys to put us in first
Looking at leaving home about 7 so will get there a bit before 9.
A big congrats to the guys today, a great team effort.... this could be our year
It's still blowing 25-30 at Wynyard, seems stronger than that up on the Cape. The sea is pretty white. I'll save it for a nicer day I think.
At about 10.00 I stopped to unlock this gate, drove out, locked it again, drove off, and then KABAM!
Geez Easty you were lucky, from Devonport to Wynyard it blew hard for most of the day just not where we wanted.
The graphs I put up, the top one is Cape Grim and the bottom one Smithton Airport
