I'll be working around Wynyard next week, would appreciate a heads up from the Northern crew if Stanley looks a goer. Maybe some strong N/NE Tuesday?, is this good?
High tide is at twelve thirty (middle of day) so will be very very choppy and no sand up till late afternoon.May get a chance in the early morning on some flat water but yea if it was me i would give it a miss.
or though being forecast quite easterly it would be quite flat up behind the sand dune. Here is a image of my tracks a while back.As Jordan mentioned once the sand dune has had a big chunk washed away around 250m.
Looks like theres some serious weather coming for the end of next week and next weekend
Hopefully give us the chance to kick December off, Tassie style!
Hey Easty looks ok now for early Mon morn. low tide is at 7.00 am so you would need to be on the water by around 8.00 if you want to sail flat water in the channels that Izaak posted at East inlet.
It's not a very low tide so by about 10.00 it may start to get fairly choppy.
Bouy weather is currently forecasting 22 to 30 kts all day Monday and 20 to 27 early and easing in the arvo on Tues. I cant get away from work or I would come with you
