Doesn't look that good for today possibility of a light easterly at Dorans

Sunday looks better with a fresh NE maybe a chance for wave sail at Goats or some speed/blasting at Marion Bay lagoon

Out in no mans land. He sailed out from Cremorne and way out into the bay, then way out into Storm Bay further out than Betsy Is then into Goats, sounds scarey to me unless there's a bunch out there together incase something happens.

at the cemetry ?
found here
www.google.com:443/maps?q=-42.835698,147.854936&num=1&t=h&sll=-42.815634,147.864035&sspn=0.065496,0.128059&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=-42.83815,147.84894&spn=0.048336,0.111494&z=14

Follow the High way towards port arthur.
Turn right at the Service station in copping.

Follow this road and it will turn south and head along until you come to the cemetry, Just befor it there is a parking area where we rig up (or did last time, I've only been there once).

Well I think Marion Bay should definitely be used heaps more, how much fun was today, well I had a great time! They would have been the longest runs I have sailed, the water is crystal clear (which freaked me out at first) and clean with no oysters! So much fun, sorry Kaleb, Goats is now a no no if its windy at Marion! LOVED IT!

Yeah sure is a beautiful spot to sail.

Jodie I suggest you get some new speed gear for your husband as he nearly got pipped by the old dog, or maybe he just had a little weed on his fin

I reckon Russ is the BIG underdog to be right up there in the rankings this year (looked fast today as usual) Russ you need to get out on the flat water more!

Kaleb - A you going to submit that proposal for Pittwater, i'm super keen to sail there!

Russ is definately not an underdog. It's been known for a long time that he is by far one of the fastest guys on the water, he just doesn't get to sail very much.

As for the proposal, that was handed to the President of Windsurfing Tasmania back in November, last I heard he was going to organise a meeting with the approprite authorities.

Pittwater has great potential, remember the days when we used to keep up[ with the cars!.
Lets sort this out, when i rang DIAR ( and jez did)they said it was better addressed through windsurfing Tas.
perhaps..
a group of allocated keys?
we could offer a windsurfing tas cleanup of the area annually?
just some thoughts...

These ideas were all outlined in the proposal that I drafted last year and submitted to Windsurfing Tasmania. What we need is someone who is on WT committe to take the reins and act as a spoksperson for this proposal and the interests of sailors.

What a fab place for a good blast. I feel safer sailing there then out Marion front beach, no rips to worry about[}:)]. Saw 1 big stingray and 1 zombie in the graveyard.
