Looking the goods for Laggon blast tomorrow could be a traffic jam on the water like last weekend!

I am looking forward to a sail Sunday.
It took the week to recover from last weekend.

We've gone East for the long weekend... rigged the kids rig Fanatic 2.5 on the only board I could pack, Futura 111L ...
Such a cracker of place

Love the rope idea, I take it is their to let you know when they are getting to far away as it tugs on your toe to wake you up

Johnny all I can say is location location!!!! what do you mean it was the only board you can take??? had the thought not crossed your mind to leave the food and clothes at home to fit the board quiver in? You've gotta get your priorities in check man. I think the rope idea certainly gives piece of mind but it I have found it creates carnage when I jibe

C'mon Parkster. Haevn't you heard of one-handed jibes.

Just grab the rope with the other hand, toss it over the top of the mast and Bob's your uncle!
I'm sure this is how Johnny would instruct his advanced young students.
Sam's probably already mastered that trick.

Ahaha. To both of you Yea, they did pretty good, so much that they wanted to go out today in the 30knot SW's + 2m waves
They're not dropping that rig on the front of the futura - I was scared enough as it was!

And yep, I've taught quite a few people here with a 200m rope on a hosereel - give kids a great amount of confidence, but long enough to get balance and feel the sail/wind. I might try the rope tied to a gumtree at Rosevears ey!?

Great idea Johnny I might try the rope idea next time I sail BOL. Could also be helpful at a looping clinic, just sail flat out hit a wave get some air just as you run out of rope

Hopefully get rid of one more tree blocking the wind
