Houston you may need to bring one of the kids down to take photos, your old ,brittle, arthritic hands, may bust a finger pressing the button?.
Goats Sunday afternoon. Depending on the wind, all in fun sailing Expression session till 5.30 then 4 man final. Hopefully the wind will be in by 3-4pm.
There will be a briefing at 3pm. I'll try and post about 1pm detailing conditions.
Houston can you be there to assist??
Yeah I'll be there, remember to enter you HAVE to be a member of Windsurfing Tas Inc so I'll bring down membership forms if you bring along your $50 (covers 12 months)
I'll also have the camera so let's hope it turns on, could be a bit of fun
Very small swell at Goats today, about waist high with the occasional shoulder set and the banks are good with no closeouts so very safe for all. The wind is ENE at Dunally so thats a good sign for this afternoon.
There is no cost to enter the wave comp this afternoon but you will need to be a member of windsurfing tas. Anthony will have membership forms available at the beach, please bring your $50 to become a member and support Windsurfing in our lovely state.
The membership 'one off' payment will get you entry into all WT events throughout the year.
This event is for all to come and enjoy sailing at one of the nicest beaches in the Hobart area, not to mention the only place to get East winds.
Everyone at the beach will be able to contribute to the judging wether you are entered or not.
Did it happen?
If it did I'm keen to see some pics, c'mon the Duke of Hazardous Bottom turns.
I would have been there, but I'm about 4000km away. Mmm, tropical waters, 15-20 knot winds, no gear!!!
Well Goats finally turned it on for a spectacular first wave event for the year.
Warm, sunny, beautiful up to shoulder high waves even if the wind was a bit on the light side.
