looks good here Wednesday, but tide is not the best...Friday looks good but too south west at this point for the best speeds. Hopefully it comes around.

Looking good here in the north (Port Sorell) tomorrow and lucky enough i can get out for a sail on the low tide. Can any one else get out to back me up?, could have some good speeds.

Steve is going to sail down here if their's wind, so he should at least get something on the board! Some others may get out as well, hopefully i'll get out later this arvo

Got called into work this morning and the work ute is now getting serviced tomorrow instead of today.
Have tomorrow off, strong wind warning for the Derwent Estuary for Thurs.

About 8 of us got a short stint at Dorans in a gusty westerly with a quite little ale to end the day

Not bad for the veitz man at Dorans 32 .3 approx on wave board and wave sail. One for the local tas. gps event division.
Just shows that you can still get good speeds on soft sails.
Burn your cambers and go soft!!!
Perhaps the rev head recreational sailor should look more towards fast non camber sails?

Great effort Vietzy and welcome aboard as the latest member of the Tassie Speed Seekers!!!

Damo, waveboards with wavesails have done over 42 knots, so no issue with them going quick! Use whatever gear you like. However, the same sailor that did 42 on a Starboard Acid and KA Kaos wavesail has also done over 50 knots on specialised speed gear, so if you are trying to improve your speeds the cambered sails and specialised boards help, but if not obviously anygear can be pushed to go pretty fast. Steve has done 32 knots on his Formula board with 9.8m sail.

Saw you out there on the Derwent Steve, those Severne sails stand out for miles from Mt Nelson.

Hey Damo, when you "set" Veitzy up, "age" refers to actual age, not mental age.

Not a bad sailor for a 30 year old with a 2 year old brain..........most of our mates have pretty small brains
