Morgs and i threw a few lures at Marion, we caught a hippie on a spangled minnow.!
Houston or veitz are going to bring the bbq
Don,t forget to bring your own meat if you want to add to the fish you caught
God bless and goodnight
Got told, they are catching 900ml flat head on most Saturday mornings in the Cremorne lagoon ,or at least on the 12 of january ,also heard there was $500 Prize for the biggest fish caught on the day, donated by fredrick henry. Good to see real men fishermen agreeing to turn up,come rain, hail , shine or up to the king of barbadosses discrection. Even the western shore boys might turn up--- yes that means you. Anyways ,yibada yibida thas all folks. There will be room for the keen budding fisherman on all boats for shore ,unless beargrills can handle going it alone on any sort of drift wood.we can't let the usual Aman suspect ,win again .Also heard that fishing ledgend rex the man hunt might arrive by hellicopter for moral support. So see you all there on Saturday the 12. 9.30am sharp for the captains fish off.
i'm excited
Trophy is ready
Boys are ready collingwood jumpers if it gets cold
I fired up about Morgans annual 4th safety briefing
Cheers Russ
Please! Would all participants entering from Honeywood drive ensure they drive extremely slowly and make sure you keep the noise down, we are under threat of loosing access to this area if we dont use extreme care and caution.
You should be driving in first gear at walking pace along the track.
What a super fun day
Morgan did it again with a 42cm flathead your back on top mate three out of four years makes you a legend of the fishing and windsurfing World.
fantastic family day and a big thank you to everyone for joining in the fun.
Houston took some pictures (thanks mate) of the fun so look out for those on this forum and once again a huge thanks to everyone that came along today, you make the fishing day so special.
Look out for next year the 5th annual windsurfers fishing comp
Can Morgan do it again????????????????
I would just like to thank everyone who turned up at the fishing comp.
Well done to everyone
Congratulations to Young Sampson who managed to catch a 36cm whopper
even though he had a late start!
Great to see Ant won a fishing rod, now he will be all set for next year
Everyone had a great day and I am already looking forward to next year
Thanks Russ for being a great organizer
God bless and goodnight
Thanks to Morgan and Russ for organising the fishing event Claire and I had a fun morning in the lagoon
Thanks Captain and Russ for a brilliant day...............definitley rate it as the premier windsurfing comp of the year
mmm, nice feed of flatties there!
Well done Captain, that's a good size fish!
Is that dude on the trophy doing a duck gybe?
Thanks to Russ and Morgan for organising a great day. Next year I will pay a little more attention to the rules and not go wandering outside the competition fishing zone. Really thought I could catch the big one out in the bay, but alas my 400mm just was not good enough. Love the photo with Morgan and the xxxx gold.
Cracker, I couldn't help put up that photo of you, looks to everyone like you are talking about the big one that got away, those that were there and knew you deliberately broke the rules know you were trying to weasle your way into a trophy, nice try
Captain that would have to be a two season penalty
Two years penalty for a minor infringement - come on guys give me a break. When your only trophy in the last 30 years is the one attached - ye well I may be a little desperate.
