Right guys winter cup coming up! need to focus and have a red hot go at winning it. None of this bump & jump crap unless you're doing 100k's
That's right Ka need to ramp the guys up for winter can't have them sitting at home watching the footy all day
I'm out of action for a while after a 40 min fight with the scalpel but I'll be down there backin the troops
Stanley is looking ok for a few days this week. Tide is good through the middle of the day too.
Barry and i will be there in the morning...
Don't think I'll be hitting the water for another 2 weeks until I get the swelling down in my injured legs. And I definitely won't be sailing Dorans until my cut heals up. Today & tomorrow I'll just be sitting in a chair with my feet up
Here's some photo's of the injuries from the gruesome head on collision with the Freestyler.
What Firie said, but maybe standing around in icy cold water and wind might help.
Its meant to snow again Thurs
might be a bit done by friday, its a big week for wind, thicking of heading out at port sorell around 10 today
Looking at Fridays forecast could be the strongest blow for PS for a good while.
Finally might be able to try out my new KA 5.0 had since Oct and not wet yet.
Just a guess, but with all the rain and 7.0 m wave, Henty would most likely be a wash out.
Redbull storm chasers could have almost gone to Marrawah 8.5m wave 38-51 knots
Kazza check the video below out, this was at Burrum earlier this year. At the briefing we were all told which direction to go on the speed run but because the wind was fairly square guys found they could go back up the bar in the opposite direction. Having seen a guy hospitalised years ago after a windsurfing head on I found it frustrating, remember the GoPro has a very wide lens so they are passing in the opposite direction very close, scary when it's half a dozen. It was all good when Justin got the big stick out
If you don't appreciate swearing turn the sound off
Far out they are long flatwater runs, have to come and check Burrums Heads one day. I can see your frustration with people on the wrong side, very, very scarey. Now after my collision I would be extremely paranoid in that situation. It's funny really down here we sail all over the place on the speed runs but because we've been sailing all together for so long we know who normally gives way to who (the pecking order), it's when you get foreigners sailing with you it gets scarey.
This will give you a giggle, the boys at Green Island have FNQM on the top
And no one wore a rubber to do it
