Does anyone ever go out here? Noticed it was empty on Sunday around noon - not even a kiter and seemed a good place considering no shories on high wind southerlies.....

K Dog,

Are you talking about Green Point, at the bottom of South Road? If not, where exactly do you mean?

Just near Wellington Street.

Would work in a Northerly - maybe a closer option for us City Folk....

That's Kite beach! Kind of an unspoken agreement that windsurfers stay off kite beach and Kiters stay away from Dendy St (the southern end of the beach with all the bathing boxes....) Works pretty well as Dendy St is way better than Kite beach for windsurfing anyway.

If it's Northerly then Green point is better for windsurfing. Best to leave kite beach to the kiters...

it's my local beach and i've only ever seen one windsurfer there. he seemed to be friends with the kite people and even used one of their kite things.
