It was great to see so many of windsurfers coming down in the middle of winter to have a chat, enjoy some great food (thanks Irish Paul), cool windsurfing footage and learn from the master Ben Severne about sail design. It was also good to see some of the new 2014 Severne sails and Starboard boards before the official release, including a prototype board specifically designed for Port Phillip bay.
A big thanks to Starboard and Severne for providing lot's of cool gear to be auctioned on the night with all proceeds going to Sea Shepherd's charity. and congratulations to the president with his 45th Birthday ;) and to Simon who walked away with Bjorn Dunkerbeck's signed rash vest!

Was a good night. Great preview and explanation on the new sails from Ben. Enjoyed the insight into the Starboard prototype process and board design from Ian. And Tom's description of the new wave boards was very interesting. Thanks to all.
It was great night. The Bjorn rash vest competition and the charity auction for some special donated clothing was a fun highlight.
