satdy and sundy its on! the wind will be back in town who is up for a redbull jam? the inverloch crew and the green point crew and the rye crew, why dont we all meet up again and scare the kiters away like we did last time 30 knots is forecast satdy and sundy by mr. bom, you ripper son. We are all meeting at RYE. If ya see a dude sailing around with the words flipper on his sail say g' day. I want to see some big jumps out there fellas dale cook style. And i want to see the SHQ sponsored dudes showing us all how to flip Come on now get on the phone to ya buddys and tell them about the windsurf jam this weekend at rye..

We'll be there doing a 'dry run' this weekend before we leave for our 2 month windsurfing trip down the east coast.

If you see a Jayco pop top behind a blue Ford Falcon wagon, be sure to say g'day.

Weather Situation
On Thursday a high pressure system will develop to the south of Western Australia and will briefly extend a ridge towards Victoria. A low pressure system will develop over South Australia on Friday before moving across Tasmania on Saturday and away to the southeast on Sunday.

Forecast for Wednesday until midnight
Winds: Southwesterly 5 to 10 knots. Seas: Below 0.5 metres.

Forecast for Thursday
Winds: South to southwesterly 5 to 10 knots tending south to southeasterly at 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon. Seas: Around 0.5 metres.

Forecast for Friday
Winds: East to southeasterly 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon before tending east to northeasterly at night. Seas: Around 0.5 metres.

Forecast for Saturday
Winds: North to northeasterly 15 to 25 knots tending north to northwesterly 25 to 35 knots during the day. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres during the day.

Forecast for Sunday
Winds: West to northwesterly 20 to 30 knots decreasing to 15 to 20 knots during the afternoon. Seas: Up to 2 metres.

It depends on the day,


With that forecast I'll be on a 5.5 Blue / Black ezzy and Meg's will be on a 5 yellowish Neil Pryde.

I also wear a stupid hat and probably the only ones out there wearing PFD's

A low pressure system over South Australia is deepening and moving southeastwards towards Adelaide this evening. The low will continue to intensify as it moves across southwestern Victoria on Saturday afternoon then western Bass Strait Saturday evening to be near southern Tasmania early Sunday morning. The low will then move rapidly away to the southeast on Sunday. On Monday a high pressure system will cross the Bight before moving eastwards over Victoria on Tuesday.

Forecast for Friday until midnight
Winds: East to northeasterly 10 to 15 knots becoming northeasterly 10 to 20 knots later in the evening. Seas: 0.5 to 1 metres.

Forecast for Saturday
Winds: Northeasterly 15 to 25 knots tending north to northeasterly 20 to 30 knots around dawn then tending northerly 30 to 40 knots in the afternoon. Winds tending west to northwesterly up to 40 knots later in the evening. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres increasing to 2 metres around dawn then increasing to 2 to 3 metres in the afternoon. The chance of thunderstorms during the afternoon.

Forecast for Sunday
Winds: Westerly 25 to 35 knots, reaching 40 knots at times, decreasing to 15 to 25 knots during the morning then decreasing below 15 knots during the afternoon. Seas: Up to 3 metres decreasing to 2 metres around dawn then decreasing to 1 metre around midday.
