Saw this clip and remembered I had a longboard I made a few years ago kicking around in the shed somewhere. Amped to try this out!

After some slight truck modification and a hole in the board it's ready to roll.

Next thing.... anyone got an old, small (thinking 3-4m) sail and mast laying around collecting dust that they are willing to part with? Don't mind if sail is ripped as it'll more than likely get trashed on the concrete at some stage. Happy to provide beer or a lil cash to compensate for a decent rig

Celebrated the hawks winning the gf with the drunken idea to set up a rig on me mates longboard, awesome fun and although I was in no state to be doing it, really good for practicing gybes...
Lessons learnt: boom grip will cop it so make sure u pad it up or use old one...

That video clip is of Dan from WaSSuP here in Vic. They have setup some new programs with a couple of schools. Check their website.
A big group of us used to landsail at DFO car park next the airport. I still landsail along my home beach. Funny enough from my place to Dan's.

Ah sweet! I had thought that location looked sort of familiar. Possibly the netball courts at the end of south rd in Moorabbin...?

Nah this these are the netball courts in Chelsea. Bicentennial Park I think just south of the big playground.

Brings back memories of John and I skate sailing in Maroubra car park twenty years ago, it was a great way to pass time when the wind gods weren't on our side.
