So boys dont even think of sailing point danger, green point, sandy point, point leo, point henry cause rye is the place to be. Tell ya buddys rye is the place to be.
We are hoping for 40 windsurfers to turn up a record and are trying to scare all the kiters away

OCEANBLUE64 some of my fastest runs were at rye. If you windsurf in front of the first sand bar near the pier in a NE, N wind you can get some real good speed runs. Its as flat as sandy point. It is such a buzz sailing 30 knots heading straight for the pier. One problem tho its illegal cause there is a 5 knots speed limit there. The ranger told me off twice for sailing there. The ranger said I was too dam fast. You will probly see me have another crack at it tomorrow. When the ranger is not looking.
I'm thinking a more gentlemens hour of 11'ish
Kona: Don't want to see you rocking up at a lazy 2 o clock like last week!
The early bird catches the wind @ Rye! or that is what I am hoping I would be going later if it wasn't for the fact my wife has a baby scan tomorrow arvo and if I am late I don't think I will ever get out again!

The only place that appears to have wind at the moment is point wilson...
I am heading to Pt Henry. Winds are only around 15 but at least I will get a sail. It may pick up a bit later.
wtf is going on?
@ 10:50am 25kts at pt wilson and 5 at fawkner! Has someone put up a massive wall to stop the wind getting to the rest of the bay? I reckon OB is at pt wilson anemometer at the moment with a fan
Hmmm.
Looking out the window here in Mordialloc and it appears to be picking up. Just looked at BOM observations for Moorabin and it's blowing 16-23 knots (www.bom.gov.au/products/IDV60801/IDV60801.94870.shtml). Looking at the trees that looks about right some of the time, but there are some big holes.
