Good luck with the fundraiser!!
Right now, at Lake Cinema, Lake Macquarie, we've got nearly 50 windsurfers watching Spotti, Daffy and everyone, in Quickly Go Mad!!
then we'll see Don't Let Go!' Thanks Drift and WS Vic! And KA222, from the windsurfers at Newcastle Movie Night.
Good luck Team!
Let's make sure we all come down to support these local riders to represent Australia at Luderitz!
It's also a great opportunity to catch up with other windsurf crew before the season kicks in and it'll be a great night out!
C you there !
Its going to be a great night and fantastic to see Inverloch Windsurfing Club, Windsurfing Victoria, Core, RPS, SHQ, and ZU all getting behind 4 gun Victorian speeds sailors and helping them to strut their stuff on the world stage.
Check out what Andrew Daff, Jacques Kint, Craig Spottiswood and Tony Wynhoven have been up to onhttp://victorianspeedsailing.com/
btw - Jacques and Spotty were putting in some solid training today at Swan Bay with 44 kt peak speeds
Firstly a huge thanks for the support/interest so far from all the shops and Windsurfing Vic to be involved on the night. The Inverloch Windsurfing Club will be running a sausage sizzle too along with the Elwood SC crew helping out with the Bar, much appreciated.
We would like to see as many fellow windsurfers and friends for a social evening filled with Raffles, Auctions, Trivia, Random give aways and other Fund- raising activities. Along with the shops providing some of the merchandise up for grabs, they will be show casing some of the 2014 gear they have available at the time on the night.
Thanks also to 'C&R imports / One Industries' for also providing some merchandise up for the taking as well. It was their 'Scott' goggles they donated to me back in 2009 that helped us see through that sandy eyeball scratching, record breaking day. They are onboard again for Luderitz, thanks!.
Ka Sails are also putting up a brand new sail for the taking on the night !!!
We look forward to seeing you all, and we will have some of our speed gear on display too.
And yes the mirror ball etc/tunes will be there to set the tone, so feel free to get ya groove on between the festivities, why you may even spot a funky monkey on the night
Here is the trailer clip for the Luderitz 2013 event... (2min)

^^^Good review and pics Mick.
Thanks to all who attended and the generosity and support shown from the local shops SHQ, RPS, The ZU, CORE and Windsurfing Vic, Ka Sails, ONE Industries. Some ripper merchandise was on show and up for offer. The free-styling Funky Monkey showed up and styled windsurfing accessories and clothing on offer as well as helping out revving the crew up with his candid auctioning skills.
Heres a few mobile snaps from the evening, check Drifts link above for better pics.
