Hey, I was just looking at the pic red thumber! lol.

Got a lot of respect for people who can sail in those massive waves.

Got a lot of respect for people who can sail in those massive waves.


There were actually some nice long right handers at The Gap the pic does not show it though.

You should give it a go Kurt, it was suprisingly easy to get out through the surf. The waves down there dont seem to pack much punch.

Something I'd definitely like to work towards. My sailing is pretty rusty for waves. Some wave clinics for newbies would be good.

I noticed it was more wnw yesterday, will nw be ok or to off shore to get out?

Its going to be good in melbourne tomorrow so is it worth the drive??

nw is cross off, but pretty offshore. easy to get out if the swell is small but tough when its bigger. front beach is much easier to sail on a nw in terms of getting out...
