The forecast (so far) is showing ESE for Friday and Saturday. Where's the best places to sail in this wind direction?
I was thinking Point Leo, but not sure if it works in an Easterly?

leo would be dead onshore. typical options are gunnamatta, woolamai or sandy point. gunna should be awesome tomorrow afternoon.

No worries.
Is the landscape around Gunna pretty flat? So a ESE is Cross Off?
Gotta work till late tomorrow but definitely gonna hit it Friday and Saturday if the forecast is on the money. Then Leo if it swings around to the SW on Sunday.
Thanks Al, gotta get all this new kit wet.
Cheers

No there are big dunes at gunna but they aren't really an issue if the wind is pretty SE. Dead E then it gets really gusty but still definitely isn't as bad as starboard tack N-NNW
Hopefully will sneak down for a late session after work Friday, but tomorrow definitely looks like the pick.

Invy main beach or Venus Bay all work on ESE

Another wasted arvo in search of wind and waves on the bottom of the Mornington Peninsula. Definitely need to get another SUP!

Today always looked a bit dodgy... Yesterday was good for a few hours. Bit of carnage going on - was good to see!

Yeah, should've known I'd miss it... work really gets in the way of windsurfing.
I thought the forecast looked good for today... probably should stop going by Seabreeze forecasts!
The pics look great. Really keen to sail there, it looks like it'd be a great place.

I'm thinking Leo tomorrow... could I have better luck this time 'round?

It needs to be hot, sunny and a strong wind forecast from Windguru and Bom to guarantee Gunna. Sandy Point is much more predictable in terms of wind, if windguru says 12 knots or higher of Easterly wind with sun and warm temperatures it will be minimum 20 knots.

Tomorrow looks like a late bay sail... Wednesday could be good though.

Probably going to give Gunna another crack tomorrow at some stage... anyone else heading down?

Woolamai will be the pick. Swell will be dropping through the day so will probably be similar to the other week.
