Where is every one windsurfing this weekend?
Myself:
Saturday – After some morning family duties, I'm off down to my local beach Bonno.
Sunday – Will depend on if I can get out in the afternoon, if so then my local again.

RYE , Long runs, bump and (and fall over), jump (and fall over) a bit of wave , - its been a while .....
Gotta be Green Point for me! Too impatient to drive to Rye but will get down there in the next school hols. Hopefully it will be blue skies and sunshine along with the northerly.
Leeward side of local breakwater (Portland - faces east/west) if the wind comes through as it's promised!
Excuse my ignorance (I've just escaped from across the border) but isn't Rye dead onshore in a Northerly?
Anywhere that offers some sideshore wavesailing in a Northerly?
Cheers,
Muzz
Yeah dead onshore, but nice sail between the sandbars. Good spot for winter northerlies (and no swimming back when it suddenly stops )
No show here yesterday either, wind gone now...and the 30kt forecast for Tues & Wed just downgraded by half!
Upside is, boat's primed & ready for tuna fishing next weekend...and sup's still on roof racks from yesd'y!
If anyone wants me, I'll be sup'ing off our local for the next few hours in nil wind...I've already traded in one w/s board for a sup...other 2 w/s boards & sails going soon.
Might as well only have toys that the conditions allow me to play with!
Saturday was OK at Brighton: www.peterskiteboarding.com/2011/05/brighton-beach-great-to-be-on-water.html
But Sunday was better: www.peterskiteboarding.com/2011/05/better-wind-at-brighton-nice-speed-day.html
Water and wind was quite warm and it wasn't too crowded. Great to get on the water after a couple of weeks with no kiting.
6.6 Koyote and RRD FSW96 at Green Point on Saturday, 1 till 3.30, was good. Today again on the Lov Mus Large and a brand spanking KaRace 7.1 , a few good runs before the wind crapped out. Nice sail!!!! it,s a keeper.
After driving to Rye on Sat for the no-show, I headed back to GP and had 2 hours decent sail there. Today Sunday was a mixed bag at GP, marginal first but then the fronts brought some squalls which got me going pretty well, sometimes way overpowered with the 7.5 V8.
