Tough call. Wind looks a lot more consistent for bay tomorrow than sandy. Weight up the chance of a late wavesail at sandy for the comp or all day solid wind in the bay. What's other peoples thoughts.

Windaddict just text me and told me that he was windsurfing with a 4.5 today in a spring suit at Gerroa NSW, dam.. They should call victoria england now cause it rains so much here, they should make melbourne the new england

Seabreeze has forecast 42 knots and rain for the bay tomorrow, Sunday? that forecast sounds like a bit of a repeat of last year?? So will sandy hit over 50 knots???? should i brush the cobwebs off my 2.5 m sail???

And how are we all going to windsurf the PIT in a 40+ NW wind??? any ideas fellas?? Dont think it works to good in a NW

Sandy in the waves after lunch should work. Not best direction for the inlet though.

Hitting Sandy too. I'll just go where my friends go when I'm there. First time there for me. Mostly likely the waves.

Well 4 of us went down to Sandy on Sunday and sailed in amongst the competitors at the Sandy Life Saving club. Well powered on my 4.7M. Felt a little old school with my 4-5 year old gear and very outclassed amongst the pros but had a lot of fun, especially as it was my first time there.

Hope the rest of you got a great sail in. Looked like there was some decent wind in the Bay too.

And you still have the inlet to come! SP never disappoints and it was so much more fun with a van load of sailors. I don't think I have laughed so much for some time. Nick really does have great comments!

lol I am sure your lovely lady can take a shot for you next to the van Nic. Only 2 sails and one board were mine. I think it was Rosobot that had to bring his "I love Neil Pryde" collection. Ended up with 7 boards and about 15 sails.
