Bring on the northerlies (even though the sunny coast sux in northerlies as it never blows...)

i've always thought the Northerlies at mooloolaba were pretty nice.

Going to try and get a sail there after work, does happy valley get any wind in a N?

for a northerly in caloundra i'd go to what's called ann st which is a reef break at the end of buderim st. bit scarey on low tide. but great spot and cross/cross off conditions.

happy valley in a n is doable but can be gusty, i have launched from golden beach and done the treck across bribie before...
yeah, mooloolabah is pretty good, winds not that reliable tho.
have a look today - northern nsw is already 20-25 at 8am...
i think the blackall range moderates the seabreezes and they often end up blowing 15-20 when the bay is 20-25 and nsw 25, that said i've had plenty of good n sails up here.
the bom forcasting 6 lows off seq this summer excites me!
