For those of you who too the chance on the Easter Friday forecast Gerroa turned it on. Wind had a bit of east in it so down the beach was a little less gusty and the big NE swell was peeling head high. The usual suspects were taking it apart.
Adrien Levy flys high
thats Adrien Levy - with minimal time on the water after a broken leg and time in Qld
Next shot im not sure but Forest Ladkin is trying to bouce of the whitewater and Preswick is charging. Mark Town (red starboard) first foray into bigger surf at Gerroa - pretty good for a late starter
Was a great day though....Some of the biggest stuff I've ever been hit by, swam from, ducked under and got hit by again and again.....and again. You guys made it look easy, I've got a lot to learn about wave sailing but I had a lot of fun and I was happy to get away without breaking myself or my kit.....Some where not so lucky.
.....Where's the video, I did see a GoPro out there?
looks great you lucky buggers, boardshorts and rashy at easter time wow.
its 4/3 full wetsuit this time of year in my neck of the woods
