Of course Dunc goes out - its huge seas, 40knots of wind and that bright orange HSM photographs so well. I'm surprised he's wearing a wetsuit though .... must be getting a bit soft and feeling the cold.
Nice backie and forward!
cheers

Actually doesn't look that windy... I went out at Botany Bay is it was blowing more than 40 in the gusts. 3.7 would have been the right size.

Good effort though sailing the Bra in a Southerly.

Anyone try Makaha or Newport?

I sailed Makaha from about 11 - 1pm, it was good, but I was pretty out of control on a 4.7 (pretty normal for me). Certainly wasn't doing what Duncan was doing, nor were the waves as big - I think the swell increased throughout the day. Good work Duncan
Did you get to Windang George ?

This will sound lame but I was real sick, I didn't even go for beers with the boys on sunday arvo! I drove over and had a look. Craig from canberra was having a good dig by himself. Mast high 35kts. Looked real good actually.
