Thank you...

So based on Wikipedia "to win I need to be in a critical state in which there is no increase or decrease in power, temperature or neutron population."

or "to win the macroscopic behaviour needs to display the spatial and/or temporal scale-invariance characteristic of the critical point of a phase transition, but without the need to tune control parameters to precise values."

or according to one dictionary "to win you need a state of critical urgency"

Huh? Can someone translate that for me?

From what i read it relates to critical mass of nuclear material, so I'm guessing a lead lined wetsuit could help??

To get it back on track (as in what it means):

criticality
1. (Physics / General Physics) the state of being critical

or

criticality - a critical state;
critical point, crossroads, juncture - a crisis situation or point in time when a critical decision must be made;

Maybe some of you just lack:

imagination

1. the faculty or action of producing ideas, esp mental images of what is not present or has not been experienced
2. mental creative ability
3. the ability to deal resourcefully with unexpected or unusual problems, circumstances, etc

For the social side of the Woopi event this is the plan.

Saturday night - curry night for all those associated with the club are invited (partners, kids, local sailors who want to catchup included) and the Association will put some drinks on at the byo restuarant but you will need to buy your own meal.

Sunday night we will have our presentation at the pub which will include the winners and place getters from Event 1. All NSW Wavesailing Association members and event competitors will be given a voucher to purchase a meal from the pub.
1. Chargrilled Rump Steak, chips and salad
2. Chicken Schnitzel, chips and salad
3. Seaview Burger with cheese and bacon and chips
you will need to buy your drinks from the bar and it will be a busy night becasue of the NRL Grand Final!

There will not a specific event house this time but quite a few people will be in the caravan park or in houses with family and friends. If you get really get stuck let us know as we are a friendly bunch!

Cheers

Seems like Wednesday is a more popular choice with the red thumb girl. Funny to see she cares so much which day I go.

I think you worry too much about this Dan. By the way, I did red thumb your second last post, just for the sake of it.

Dan, are you sure you're not red-thumbing yourself just to give yourself something to talk about?

p.s I red-thumbed your last post because no one had yet. It looked out of place.

Hope you can wait that long.

I'm heading up Friday but will make the call on Thursday night as to where signon will be. I will base it on the Seabreeze and Weatherzone forecasting sites. Keep an eye out for a copy of the local paper in Woopi - the NSW WA publicity machine has been in overdrive!

Looking forward to the event.
Cheers
Tim Williams

You mean the Coffs Advocate or the Woopi Advertiser (or grafton paper)?

Fair call, but amusing comment on forecast call - based on the fact that AskHuey is the comp sponsor.

Look forward to watchin comp!
