Roberto was out of control jumping on his 4.7 - I was getting my arms stretched with 4m up - only managed a couple of runs - was way too strong - didn't notice if it was cold
Saw you waving us out george - rob will be pleased you got pics
nice effort. that's wild.
I got out at Q'cliff but it was prob SSW. 35K gusts at least. cut my chin (at least 3 stitches) - bleeding everywhere so packed it in.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit more sensible. Shot number two looks good though. Can you give us a morning report George?
Good one George,
Sore body tonight, lump on my head and fat lip. got out of it better than Tomp though!
Looked at my 4m sail in shed and said " no won't need that".
Hopefully tomorrow will be a little less out of control but the swell is going to be huge by then.
All the best to Mel and you on arrival of number 2.
Cheers
Rob
Wind looks around 30kts. Slightly overcast. My guess is it will go to 40kts again later. Havent seen surf yet
Hey George, thanks for the update. Let us know if you get a chance to check the swell. 5-6' in Sydney. Packing the car now
Best wishes to you and the family George. You gotta love kids, mine just put me off the water again.
We had a boy Sunday. Dylan. Very smooth birth and healthy baby and mummy. Cheers guys, another future sailor on the way!
Congrats George - haven't caught up with you yet mate. Might see you around the Wollongong area next good day.
Manly the last 4 months - but had a job offer in Berri recently. I am on my way to TAsmania in a couple of days - as long as I can sort everything. I think I saw you out sailing at a point in Thiroul area on a point 2 weeks ago?
No, not me, I usually sail around Warilla. I sometimes go up north of the gong but not often.
Probably Carl
Congrats George, well done good to see you have a healthy boy and give my regards to your better half.
