Thanks for the replies guys certainly overwhelming most of the stuff has been accounted for and confirmed but after this Saturday 19/2/11 post a list of anything else remaining.

I am looking for an old mast and bbom even in bad condition, not windsurfable even if it is a near bin job.... it is to fit to my mate kayak .
I'm giving away a North Sails DrX 5.0 2001 Wave sail :)
End of life (taped windows) but still usable :)
location Mosman Park
Hey Felix,
I've got an old boom you can have. PM me if you want it.
Oh yeah, cheers Windy, forgot to thank you for the harness.
Does anyone have a powerbox fin they don't need any more?
Cheers
Hey Maverick, my mate sais tanks a lot for the great board he is so happy to be back on the water!
Enjoy the booze and see ya there !
Hey Felixdcat no worries mate! glad to help out.
I had a glass of the JW last night, no coke mixed in either, had to put ice cubes in it tho. just about set my mouth on fire haha! good stuff :)
I dunno if anyone is still using this thread, but I have a couple of sails free to a good home:
2003 North Trans Am 6.6m - two small rips taped with tuff tape
Sailworks X-T Race 6.4m, 3 cam - one small rip taped with tuff tape
Gozzo: I have a power box pointer fin you can have, bit busted up, but yours if you want it. Around 40cm, I think.
Felix: I have a one-piece fibreglass 460 in good nick with an old 5.7m camless wave sail, also reasonable condition, that might be good for your mates kayak.
Off the top of my head, I also have a 4 cam(!) 4.7 rushwind in good nick. It's one of those mid-nineties race sails with the big deep luff pocket.
I have a shed load of other old crap, and this thread is my incentive to at least photograph it all and try to give it away.
PM me if interested in anything.
brabo said...
broken Aeron carbon race boom - the head can be re-used also the clips and the back extension,
broken Severne 460 enigma mast - bottom broken and top half ok - take both
I've got a circa 2000 Simmer Pro Race 8.0 ready to go to a good home. It rigs on a 490. It has a few holes that have been patched with tape.
***WANTED***
Harness, prefer waist
for an intermediate getting back into it afetr a few years. he is a big fella, I reckon 6'2" and 110kg so an XL I reckon

How we looking for boards guys, any left on the Hand me Down?
I am looking for something my Nephew can get into the sport with. Doesn't have to be too flash, long as it floats and has some width. I can sort him with mast, boom, sail and power box fins, harness when he is ready to go, just need a floaty board. He weighs about 75kg maybe a tad less.
He has an old railway sleeper, but it will pizz him off before he gets up and running.

this board got me back into it used to heli tack it, so pretty stable...
Thanks guys, will see him this weekend and see how he goes with the board he has. It looks a bit like a railway sleeper
Will yell out if need be.
I have an old French made board out of the 80's looking a bit like that one . maybe a bit less volume.

It is fast and has a quadruple concave, it is not in A1 condition but nothing that a good coat of gel coat wouldn't fix. I am a bit to heavy to ever go back on it and it will be free to a good home.
G'day all. I'm an older beginner (almost 60). I tried to get going a couple of years ago but have had a series of serious health issues, hence I figure I'm just starting out now. I have a really good large volume board, a 4.6m mast, a Hydrodynamix Z boom, and 6.9m sail. I live in Albany (WA) where we have plenty of wind, but too much for a beginner with a largish sail. If anyone has a superfluous, reasonable 5 to 5.5m sail I'd really appreciate it. A mast and boom to suit would help too I s'pose.
Most of you would probably know better than me what I need, hence I would be pleased accept anything which would help me get going. If you can help me out it would be best for me if you could either email me (dougndinsdale@gmail.com) or call/text on 04047 08082
