i think its cause when it get goods all the old ezzy sailors get stage fright from the invasion of scarb sailors causing them to fall off in the way and get mowed down.
Plus i dont think they know wave rules as its flat 95% of the time

Sail there when its flat and i imagine its the happiest place in Perth if you prefer waves come to scarbs always plenty to smile about there

meet my newest hero at mettams recently. He was about 100yrs old and we were both SUP on a windless day with nice size waves that were breaking over the reef. I don't mind rolling in and around the reef but this guy took it to new levels of reef riding.. laughed when he dented his new SUP and just paddled back out. He even got pancaked on the beach by one set.
Hope i'm just like him when I'm a 100.. He was happy and chatty all the time. Not grumpy.

If you could compare a beach to a movie then I'd say Metthams would be Deliverance. Fear and loathing of anyone not a local is just crazy. If you hear a banjo playing or any "squeel like a pig" noises coming from the toilet block then just keep driving. Better spots in N & S.
