Hey Mike, did I tell you that I saw a shark? Was only a lil bronzey, maybe 1.5m. Thought it was a big clump of weed at first then saw the dorsal and the tail fins - nearly ran it over...

Confidence is a wonderful thing! I had just had an hour slalom session on the river trying to chase down Nils and Annika, fully maxxed on borrowed kit. That was heaps of fun and I sometimes forget how good it feels to plow into high speed slalom gybes. I was feeling great so headed for the coast and got there just in time for the right conditions. All the right endorfins flowing.

I wasn't sailing that well, certainly not going off (probably wouldn't catch anyones attention if they were not looking) but the conditions were fun and my confidence carried thru from the river. With a smile on my face and feeling good makes a good fun day into a great session. Was great to see all the gang sailing so well.

The best bit was seeing so many happy sailors with big smiles at the end of their day. That is the stoke of windsurfing.

The starboard superstar Boujmaa didn't like the conditions - guess he is spoiled by all those big wave days around the world.

Hope your foot is okay for today rider5 - did you get all the glass out?

I assumed it was the outside break near a lump of birdsh!t and a kiter spot

My spots actually are super secret

nah miller i dont have any gear atm. After i busted my knee i sold up so i wouldnt loose too much money when i get some new gear for next season.
Hopefully i'll have a better camera down at the beach in the next few days for some more happy snaps.

sorry hayden that was the best photo i got of ya. you need a sail that stands out more, coz it was too hard to follow you through the viewfinder on that camera, let alone work out where you were on the water.
