Thanks to the efforts of Sir Tom Radis ( and some petrol / diesel related brain explosion on my part) :
i will be there to shoot video of the event - i will be aiming to shoot the start and finish as well as pre and post race interviews /vibes.
I will have a go pro mast mount - riders face in shot - to get in race footage of 1 rider.
Looking forward to covering the event.
A good turn out with 35+ sailors out on the water.
A challenging course after a wind shift before the start. Well done to all those that completed the course.
A big thumbs up to City of Rockingham, all the SBWC crew (John, Bob, Tom for organisation / set up, Julie and the other ladies doing the recording and bbq and in particular Euan for a big effort on the boat all day) the volunteers from Sea Rescue and Sean from DEC.
Thanks to WWA's Bjorn for towing the trailer, Tim, Garry, John, Michael for registration.
Sorry if I have missed anyone.
Look forward to seeing Matt H's footage.
A thumbs down to the guys who beer in hand blanked me when I asked for someone to get the buoys from the boat at the end of the day.
