Well, the swell and wind had dropped although there was the occaisional mast high set. Have posted a few shots from shore and chopper. Special thanks to Birds Eye Photography for letting me hitch a ride :)

Preliminary Results from 2010 SEVERNE and STARBOARD Australian Wave Sailing Titles:
Wednesday 3 Feb - A full round single elimination held.
Open Division had 27 competitors. Final 8 were:
Scott MCKercher (WA)
Paul Yoemans (WA)
Simon Peters (WA)
John Pott (Qld)
Terry North (WA)
Paul Lane (WA)
Matt Holder (WA)
Ben Severne (WA).
Scott and Matt made it through to the final and Simon and Terry made it through to sail off for 3rd and 4th position.
In the Masters there were 8 competitors. The final 4 were Lloyd Ellis (NSW), Dave Stafford (NSW), Oliver Barta (Qld) and Serge Pillonel (WA).
Oliver and Serge sailed in the final for 1st/2nd. Lloyd and Dave sailed off for 3rd/4th.
Weather forecast for remainder of week is not looking hopeful for getting through a double elimination, in which case the results from Wednesday's single elimination will stand.
Final results (1st, 2nd, etc) will be announced at the presentation on Saturday night in Margaret River
The Women's division was also sailed on Wednesday. The final was between Kanza Stott (WA) and Justina. Result to be announced on Saturday night.
