I'm heading up to Kalbarri over the Apr school hols - does anyone know of places to (wave)sail there? I only know of Coro's on the way up - if not, could try the 'oh must have missed the turn off - we're almost in gnaraloo now, may as well carry on" approach

Cheers

Matt

Matt, this has been posted a hundred times, do a quick search.

but to save you the time....there is nowhere to wavesail at Kalbarri, the coast is just wrong.

its either Corro's or next stop Gnarloo.

Talking to the locals when I was up there, the wind has deteriorated over the last 4-5 years.

You used to be able to get some nice long sessions on the river... But good sails few and far between now.

Best to go fishing instead!

gees guys, bite the bullet!!!
sail kalbarri it has been done and is a great sail. usually the wind is in the right south westerly direction and you get a great run at the wave as you come back in. Dont be put off by others. getting in and out is not that bad, if youve sailed margs you will make the bluff.
