Hit a rock and snapped my LT - MFC Fin today. No box damage. The LT has wide wind range and is a cracking board for open ocean. Almost only using the LT now. I don't race.
Anyone recommend a better Power Box Fin than the basic MFC LT Fin?

I'm reasonably interested in trying a powerflex sail and 36cm fin on my Lt for ocean sailing.

I also broke a plastic fin sailing backwards into my sons board for some laughs.

Was looking at the K4 36cm Fang or a JP Free Wave.

K4 would be similar to the stock Lt fin just a little bit stronger.
jp would be similar to the mfc or flikka for strength.

If you're going to do that, you need a Fangy. Also good for cracking open coconuts if you get stranded Castaway style.

Those Powerflex sails look nice - the maker seems to be one of the few that really fits what the LT is all about and how it goes, IMHO, apart from the comments that it needs a track and straps. The 7's head may be opening a little bit too much at the top end of the range for all-round racing performance but it could be a very fun sail.

What aspect of the stock fin in particular do you want to improve on?

Glad to hear that you're enjoying the LT. :-). We should perhaps look at a northern NSW LT get-together next season.

Now that's a plan. As a parent, I think a little board/fin violence goes a long way.

Improvement no nothing really, only asking because I'll need to buy another and curious if anyone had found better + LT Fins not easy to buy. Great anytime, Interested in LT events / catchup's.
