Greg from Omen Aus set me up with the new kit. This is the video of my Nephew Lance Pirie first run on it. I'm following on the Foil Drive with my Gopro.

Sexy foil. Shame about the price tag.

Hilly:- Yeah 316 stainless steel fuse , precision engineered fit on everything, the mast is so light and incredibly stiff same as NLV2 but FMD $5,443 Aus retail for a single complete foil. It's a crazy investment. Axis has gone over the top on the Ultra HM Mast , now Omen has gone the next step and done that to the complete foil. The front wing is the most beautiful carbon layup I've seen and it feels like a piece of steel but still so light. New level of everything. Disclaimer just testing the gear but it's a keeper.... It's like NASA has joined the foil game , careful lads on the add-to-cart button

I'm in USA so it's $3000 over here. But the price tag fits the setup. The other thing about it is this is an all made in the USA foil. Even the boards are made by apple tree in Europe. No china parts in the system.
The 1050 is by far, my favorite foil on the wing ding I've used. It's a one stop shop for my mostly light wind conditions with smaller waves. I don't need a second foil.
If the waves have a bit more energy. Or the wind is 20mph+ the 850 comes alive.

Honest question since I'm over here in USA. What does a full F-one setup cost with the good mast? Or an AXIS setup with the HM Ultra mast?

Since the Omen mast is a collab with the NoLimitz v2 mast. Does the NoLimitz v2 FoilDrive adapter fit right on?

If you want to see more riding footage, there is footage of Kane setting personal bests on them around here on his instagram. www.instagram.com/p/Co_W_EKLHBe/?img_index=1

With the AUS$ being so weak against the US$ and airfreight cost really makes this price disparity a lot worse and yes good point an Axis Ultra Pro mast alone is $3,800 AUS$ so fair point , once you start adding a HM mast to any kit you are straight into the 4 to 5k Aus. Just picking up the Omen you can feel and see the money. It's just so light , stiff and beautiful to look at plus the connections are tight and strong. Problem for me I'm so heavily invested in others brands it would be a costly change over. Not sure if a stringer adaptor would work to convert the Axis to Omen but that would be a huge cost saving. Re the Foildrive they now have an adaptor that fits any brand mast to fit the motor. Always been a fan of Kane since the early days so talented in riding and design at such a young age.

I was just pricing an F-one Eagle X 900 setup with the 85cm HM mast... $3110 USD and it's all made in China.

I have both the 850 and 1050 and have nothing but good things to say about them. The 850 is my go to winging setup, 1050 is my surf wing.
All this preaching about how great they are is all fine and dandy but the thing that has truly set them apart from any other the other foils I've been on is quality. I have absolutely hammered the piss out of these wings and they refuse to come apart, crack or fail in anyway. I'm 220pds w/ a 5mm wetsuit and supfoil a bigger board- when I run into a rock at full speed there are considerable forces involved. Any of the other setups I've owned have split, or failed due to the unreasonable abuse I deliver, but not the Omen stuff.
Thank you Peter and Greg for making these foils damn near indestructible while being the most user friendly high performance Foil setup on the market (so far as I've been on anyways).
Oh ya, 850. Still haven't found the top end of this foil!

I also have both the 850 and 1050 with the 87 mast. I like the gear a lot. The mast connection is still rock solid after a year of use. The connection is so firm after the taper is seated that I think you could even take the bolts out and it would still be rideable. I just got the cedrus evolution surf 72cm with omen adapter. I've ridden it a few times and I think this is the solution for people already heavily invested in other brands.
