Heading to Palm cove for a week end of june, are there any locals up there doing SUP DW? going solo so trying to see if some shuttle action could be available (happy to pay). Thanks
IT is supe fun up there. Yorkeys Knob to Palm Cove is a really fun short one. Otherwise there's heaps of runs all to the way to Port. There is definitely some local crew upthere ripping. There are doing to epic sends.
I will be up there for Mid July for the Cairns Downwind week (Mini-G and GBROC). Such an amazing week of DW.
Most crew start from Yorkeys.
Enjoy!

It's a wonder the organisers don't hold this Cairns Downwind week (Mini-G and GBROC). Such an amazing week of DW.
For August instead of July (I'd love to experience this DW run) as Hawaii is the MECA for Downwind Racing; June/ July there's like 10 Downwind Races there, with a GREAT VIBE. Other than that the only thing Cairns could offer a Block like me would be Barramundi Fishing or Marlin Fishing. Plus it be great to surf some of those Great Barrier Reef Wave during cyclone season there's some World Class Waves out there.

Warm up event for Hawaii and run the GBROC in June would be ideal! Plus May seems like the windiest month in Cairns (at least for the last couple years), so closer that way would be better.
