Hey all, I'm on the hunt for a good quality travel bag for boat trips.

The biggest board I will be lugging is a 7'6 x 27. Ideally the cover would fit a second board, but I can live with taking only one if necessary.

Everything online seems to be either made for foils or 10'+ boards, or looks like it's made from newspaper and spit!

Thanks in advance.

Surfaids in Byron do custom bags for quite reasonable prices...

Worth a look there mate.

Look into windsurfing board bags. Unifiber make stuff that would work with those dimensions, for example.

This. Flying Objects make one with wheels. Mine is 8'10 and fits 2 SUPS, but I think they come in other sizes..

I'm pretty sure Flying Objects is toast but you may find old stock-I couldn't. I managed to grab aUnifiber double bag 255x80cm. Great quality build

Thanks everyone. I couldn't find any flying objects stock online either - which led me to start this thread. The unifiber bags look like the go.

Hmmm that may of scuttled by plans !!!! Airasia carry SUP's for free upto 15kg for free so if the bag comes in at 8 kg and my Jp 8/3 at 7kg it doesn't leave me much spare weight for paddles etc.

Hey Mate,

After we shut down Flying Objects Ben started making some of the same products under his sail brand Severne Sails.

He makes a Wheeled Travel Roller much the same as our Flying Objects ones, try the link below and contact Ben or Paul at the Severne loft in Osborne Park to see if they have stock

Weight wise they look the goods

Cheers,
Marco
