2010 Moreton Bay Classic a success
Last weekend dozens of anglers converged on Manly at the brisk hour of 4:00am to compete in Brisbane Fishing Online's Moreton Bay Classic 2010. With thousands of dollars of cash and prizes up for grabs the stage was set for a tough competition.
The weather on Saturday was excellent and many crews used it to their advantage.
On Sunday entries rolled in early, many anglers appeared at the event's HQ as the day warmed up, cameras in hand ready to register fish. By midday dozens of anglers were sharing stories of success, defeat, cold nights and cold ales.
Due to the large numbers of fish caught over the weekend it took a while for entries to be catalogued and registered.
