Following a recent audit and inspection of boating facilities on Tasmania's lakes and lagoons a Draft Boating Infrastructure Plan has been developed. The Plan provides details of each location, lists recommendations for future maintenance and development and will be used to guide funding priorities for boating facilities into the future.

Community consultation is being sought on the plan, specifically from recreational boaters who use the inland waters.
