NSW anglers - new rules for Fish Rock & Green Island

New South Wales fishos are being advised that changes have been made to fishing arrangements at Fish Rock and Green Island.  These changes have been put in place to provide increased protection for the grey nurse shark population.

While most of the existing regulatinos have been maintained, the new rules limit the style of fishing in these areas.  Spinning and trolling with fly or lures is permitted but all other forms of recreational line fishing; including bait fishing, live baiting and jigging, are prohibitted.  Burleying within the specified waters is also prohibited.
