As the headline says, we have a position become available for a sales person in our busy sports store. We are one of Australia's busiest kitesurf and action sports retailer.

If you don't know us, we are leading sellers of Kitesurfing, Foilboarding, and electric bikes and skateboards. We offer lessons in all areas and have dedicated school for kitesurfing and foilboarding lessons.

Basic Description

The job we are offering is 34hrs per week, above award wages with all the normal award conditions in terms of leave sick pay etc. You will be required to assist customers in purchasing decisions

We also offer a generous discount on equipment and you join a free upgrade program so you never pay for gear. You will have access to AUstralia's biggest demo fleet of boards, kites, foils and electric skateboards.

What you need:

A cheerful and friendly personality.

A genuine want to help people

A current drivers license.

Ideally, you need to be a kitesurfer (we teach the rest).

You will need to be punctual and willing to work with a small team.

You must like dogs (we have Freddi, the shop dog!)

What we offer:

We offer a fun and flexible working environment. The sales side is not heavy, we don't pressure sell. We simply assist people in making the right decision for their needs. This usually means our selling is quite technical, requiring you to have a vast knowledge of all the equipment we sell. To do this, we train you in the use of ALL of our equipment and toys we sell.

As a small business we remain flexible in most things and treat staff as family. This is why we have not had to look for staff in retail for many years. We start at 10am and close at 5pm with the exception of Saturday which is 9am to 3pm.

We offer generous discounts on all our stock items and you enter into a free replacement of all your gear each year, so your toys will no longer cost you a fortune and you will also have access to our extensive demo fleet in all sports.

We offer you a basic uniform, footwear is optional ;-)
