Evan Netsch goes kiteboarding in Baja

Baja, Mexico: known for the desert, sand dunes and amazing kiteboarding conditions. Oh, and it’s the party capital of Mexico in Spring. Evan Netsch gets out and boosts some massive aerials on his surfboard during his yearly pilgrimage to Baja, where the water is warm and the wind always blows.

“Windy nearly everyday with some fun onshore sloppy waves, muddy flat water lagoons with one of the most biologically diverse marine ecosystems make La Ventana perfect for more than just fishing and spring breaks.”

Riding for Cabrinha kiteboarding (in fact, he’s the Mid Atlantic Rep for the brand) Netsch is known for his world class surfing and fun little freestyle tricks. Of course being mates with Reider Decker and Sam Medysky probably helps in the influence department, with the trio all hailing from the Outer Banks in Cape Hatteras during the summer season.

If you’re into the strapless freestyle scene then you’ll love this kiteboarding clip, it’s chock full of tricks you can try yourself, like the air reverses and 360’s that Evan does so well.

Give them a try next time you’re out kiteboarding, and check out the video below.
