But making a foil isn't as easy as you might first think! While it can be done with an old skateboard deck and some 2x4, shaping something with a little more class is more akin to surgery than carpentry. He's obviously worked with carbon before, as the techiques used are not-your-average first time proceedures! Vacuum bagging, while not all that difficult, most certainly has a 'knack' to it. He's also got some serious tools in his shed to make things easier, right down to the special suit he's wearing to keep the epoxy off him.
