The Kiteboarding Australia NATIONAL WAVE RIDING CHAMPIONSHIPS will be held in conjunction with the Merimbula Classic starting on the MONDAY 24th November. Showcasing the Nation’s best wave riders, the event will crown the Australian Wave Riding Champions for 2014.

Organising Authority: Kiteboarding Queensland and NT

Divisions: Men, Women, Juniors, 18 and Masters 35+

Entry Cost: $60 includes afternoon BBQ and Soft drinks each day courtesy of NSWKBA.

Dates: Start is Monday November 24 -- End Date Thursday 27th with Friday 28th as back up if required. The MERIMBULA CLASSIC Starts on Thursday 27th for 4 DAYS, so take the week off and join in two great events.
Time: First briefing at 11am Monday 24 November 2014. All entrants must be present.

Location: MAIN BEACH - Ocean drive and Elizabeth Streets- MERIMBULA

Details: Briefings will be held each day to select the best site from the following locations.
•    Main Beach
•    Pambula
•    Short Point
•    Tathra

Format: The format will be 4 man heats, 8 – 20 minute in length. Number of rounds depends on entry numbers and wind. Double elimination round is favoured.

Awards: The awards ceremony will be at the CLUB SAPPHIRE Main Street Merimbula on the THURSDAY NIGHT at 7.30pm and will be held in conjunction with the OPENING NIGHT GALA for the Merimbula Classic.
