Sessions with Susi Mai - Episode 12 - Kiteboarding in BVI

Feeling a case of the winter blues? Head out to the British Virgin Islands with the Cabrinha Kitesurfing crew and Richard Branson for the BVI Kite Jam, sponsored by Billabong.

Once again, world famouse Kitesurfer Susi Mai takes us through what's going on for this comp - well it's not a comp, it's a 'jam' which means lots of riding with no stress. From the parties, to the uninhabited islands they chose to do downwinders around - it all seems pretty lavish. Everyone stays on boats so island hopping is easy and social, plus the kitesurfers get to ride in several different locations, from surf to flat water and everything in between.

Hosting the BVI kite jam is Richard Branson himself, seeing as he owns one of the islands - it seems fitting that the kiters all went to his island for some drinks and a ride. It looks pretty amazing, with plenty of great kitesurfing and surfing locations, plus a fully stocked bar and a massive spa... Don't forget the sea planes, jet ski's and other toys the gazillionaire owns - all available to the kiters for the week. Not a bad days work for the guys from Cabrinha!
