Testing 2018 Naish Kites - In 2016!

Those are some snazzy looking 2018 models you have there Kevin Langeree!
Even Kevin Langeree agrees, 2017 kites are the new ones! He made the mistake of telling his viewers on YouTube this week that he was super excited about testing out some new 2017 model kites, but what he actually meant to say was that he's already got 2018 model prototypes in the boot of his car!

Yep, it's still 2016 (just) and next-next years gear is already on the water. Of course the brands have to start early; there's lots to consider when it comes to releasing a new kite, and lots of testing to be done. What's cool is that they've allowed Kev to release this VLOG showing us a sneak preview of what looks to be the new Torch.

Of course there's no graphics, the kites are just multi-coloured prototypes made from whatever material they had samples made of for 2018, but it's still interesting to see Kevin put them through their paces. Watch as he pulls tight loops, loads them up to the max and see's just how fast they can turn; in the vid below.
