The future is bright for Crazyfly!

Not what you'd expect a factory to look like is it?

Since way back in 1999, a little company in Slovakia has been pumping out kiteboards all over the world.

The first decent carbon boards, the lightest kiteboards on the market, now they’re even making kites and surfboards.

Crazyfly have grown, so now you can find their gear on any beach in the world…

It’s a company with several differences to the big wigs, for instance Crazyfly own and operate their own factory in Slovakia.

Boards, bars and some components are made here with state of the art machinery and the highest care placed on making eco friendly products.

Find a cleaner factory anywhere and we’ll take our hat off to you.

Considering all the flouro paint they’re covering their 2015 range of boards in, it’s amazing that their shapers don’t emerge looking like rainbow paddle pops at knock-off time. Have you seen these things!

They are bright, stunningly bright, and yet somehow their graphic schemes appeal to kiteboarders world wide, something board designers really struggle with. Crazyfly boards are backed up with ride characteristics of equal proportions to their graphics too, and they make them in any size, shape and construction you could ever want.

In 2009 Crazyfly recognized the need to offer their riders kites, and after taking a couple of years to get on their feet in Australia, 2015 seems to be the year that Crazyfly kites are being launched by the masses.

With two main models, plus a light wind specialty called the Cruze, Crazyfly makes it easy for riders to get on a kite that ‘does-it-all’. With flight characteristics on the cutting edge of development, there’s no need for 8 models of kite from one brand (cough-Cabrinha-cough).Crazyfly keeps things simple, and cheap thanks to the larger production quantities and less tooling required to make each model.

It’s good stuff, and if you don’t believe us, simply take one of their kites or boards for a test ride. You’ll be able to find one at any beach in the world, or pick up a demo at one of Crazyflys Australian retailers.
