Three new release kite movies you NEED to see.

Full of hooked, unhooked & strapless moves, there is something for everyone in F-One's Te Tainui.
It’s new-season-mega-excitement time for kiteboarding companies, which means not only do we get to test ride fancy new gear, but watch incredible movies produced with Spielberg caliber craftsmanship. This week the powers of the kiteboarding world have released three crackers, full of awe inspiring moves, lifestyle cut-scenes to make you jealous and of course, shiny new equipment. Here’s three Kiteboarding movies that you NEED to see this week.

F-One’s Te Tainui.

A trip to Tahiti is in order for the F-One crew, who step aboard a catamaran for the trip of a lifetime. Actually, for this lot it’s an annual trip, and you can tell by the fact that their skills over shallow coral reef are second to none. Full of hooked, unhooked and strapless moves there is something for everyone. Even some stand up paddling, surfing and of course those cutscenes that will make you green. Best of all, it’s over 20 minutes long so you can sit back and enjoy it with a beer.

North’s Made in Austria.

Unfortunately that title is missing ‘al’ in Austria, but hey, we won’t get into the reasons why making kiteboards in Australia isn’t exactly a cost effective exercise. This vid takes you through the production process of a North kiteboard in their state of the art facility. You’ll see the blanks cut from a piece of Paulownia, the shape CNC’d into it and the carbon laid up by hand. It’s all pressed together with a three ton press at some ungodly temperature, and finished off again by hand. The process is absolutely down to an art-form, producing incredibly detailed twintip kiteboards.

Best’s Northern Fresh (Official)

We’re not sure why it’s ‘official’, but Sam Medysky and Noe Font have just popped out a fresh wakestyle video for Best Kiteboarding, about some good ol’ fashioned obstacle hitting. When Sam hears of Noe coming to his neck of the woods (Canada), he grabs the drill and knocks up some pretty slick looking obstacles to hit. All it took was a U-Haul truck to get it to the swampy marsh they call a beach, and the results were epic. Make sure you watch until the very end, because Mr Medysky gets up to his usual shenanigans, kiteboarding inside the truck.
