At this stage we wold like to start compiling a list of those interested with further detail provided closer to each event. Availability (dates or events) WAKSA Strategic Plan 2016-2019 The WAKSA committee are pushing forward with the eligibility requirements to obtain State Sporting Association (SSA) recognition with assistance from the Department of Sport and Recreation (DSR). We have just kicked off a project to review the WAKSA Strategic Plan for 2016 -2019 which will involve consultation from key stakeholder including members, the wider kiting community, local councils, Department of Transport, Parks and Wildlife, Surf Life Saving and Sea Rescue groups, schools, shops and more. Time line for completion for both the Strategic Plan and SSA application will be end of this year and will open up many avenues for WAKSA to support and progress kitesurfing as a sport.
