Wanted: Kitesurfing Instructor - Sunshine Coast

Ocean Addicts is seeking a highly motivated individual and require someone to manage and run our kitesurfing school.

We are based in Maroochydore and you will be required to instruct at a couple of different locations on the Sunshine Coast so a current drivers licence is essential.   We have a little IRB with a 5hp motor that we use to transport students to sand bars at some of the locations so boat skills are preferred but not essential.  A boat license is not required.

We will be providing;

· The latest Equipment for you and the students

· A van for you to use to run up and down coast teaching at various locations

· IRB with 5hpr motor to transport students to sand bars  

· An endless data base for you to pursue more bookings

· 4WD for group bookings up at Rainbow Beach

The job will involve;

· Teaching on a regular basis whilst maintaining a high standard and positive out look

· Manage all the bookings and timetables

· Proactively promoting the school and the shop

· Actively seeking new students and encouraging recurring students

· Maintaining all the equipment

· Looking after the van and boat keeping them both in good clean working order


We are looking for a kitesurfing instructor that is passionate about the sport and super keen to be out there teaching and enjoys helping people learn new skills. You Must have IKO Level  1 and prior teaching experience.

The right person for this job will receive great pay and a van for them to use full time even after hrs. You will be looked after with your own personal kite gear and have plenty of opportunities to make lots of work for yourself.

You will be paid very well per lesson, so the more lessons you do the better!  We will also be offering commission on sales of any equipment that your students purchase after their lessons.

We require someone to start work immediately.
