World Class conditions in Perth bring out the kiteboarders

Looking south towards the Perth Metro beaches.
Conditions have been world class in Perth this week, so you can imagine the beaches were literally jam packed with kiteboarders doing downwinders!

Check out the adjacent photo snapped by Seabreeze.com.au Forum user TrueSpirit from TrueSpirit Photography, looking south down the Perth Metro coastline.

It uses a special lense to capture a 10km+ length of beach.

It’s choppy, it’s windy, and we counted a whole lotta’ kites on the water. 57 to be exact, and that’s not including the ones behind the photographer, out of frame or mid-crash with their kite in the water.

Places like Safety Bay & Woodies further south also see great numbers of kiteboarders, packed into a one of the worlds premier flat water locations.

While the WA coastline is more than big enough to handle the several thousand kiteboarders living in WA, popular locations like Pinnaroo, Scarborough and the world famous Safety bay can get pretty hairy on the weekends, so stay safe out there, remember your fellow kiteboarders and have a great session!
